Believe it or not, I have not actually used any editing software or applied any filters to turn this photo to Black and White. Nor did I use my camera in manual mode. I simply used the auto setting on my DSLR and angled the camera against the setting sunlight, so that the photo was captured exactly like this.
This is part of Warwick castle, just as the sun was going down last weekend. We went there as we have Merlin Annual Passes and we had a fantastic family day out. Full review coming soon!
For now though, here is my atmospheric sunset photo of Warwick castle.

That’s a great shot and I love the fact that it came out in black and white automatically. Very atmosphere and love the outline of the castle against the sky.
That is a stunning view! It looks very atmospheric .

It’s so satisfying to have a photo turn out so well without editing. I do like this shot a lot. I am quite partial to silhouettes.

Love the atmosphere in this picture, a really gorgeous view. Thanks for joining in with Linked
We’ve only been to Warwick castle once, what a beautiful place; so much to see! So good you have the Merlin pass and that you’re using it! I recently discovered that I could take pictures in different tones, directing with the camera … it’s lovely, isn’t! Time saving too, no messing about with photo editing sites or software.
Thanks for lovely linky, and the lovely picture you shared. #CheckOutThatView
