I thought I’d share something a little bit different for this weeks #CheckOutThatView photo. As much as I’d love to say I’m in a hot country, swimming with sharks and taking photos from an underwater camera, I wasn’t. I do still think it’s a pretty awesome photo though. Especially if you bear in mind it was taken through glass.
So this is actually in the underwater tunnel at The National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham, where we had a fantastic day out with the kids only a few weekends ago. I will be publishing a full review soon. I took over 200 photos and a few video clips too, so will take me a little while to collate them and choose which ones to use.
Thanks to everyone who linked up to #CheckOutThatView last week. I really value the loyalty some of you have shown to this small and mighty little linky of mine and I like finding newbies joining in too. I really enjoy looking at all your photos, which show such beautiful places and I don’t think I will ever tire of looking at them.
So if you’re a blogger, come and join in with #CheckOutThatView.
You can share a photo of anywhere in the world and it’s fine if it’s part of a larger blog post, article, review or even another linky.
Don’t forget to shout about your post, by adding the hashtag #CheckOutThatView on Twitter – I will Re-Tweet them all! I also pop round and comment on everyone who links up and give you at least a twitter share and sometimes a G+ share too. I usually do this the following Saturday or Sunday, to give everyone a chance to link up.
Let’s see what views you’ve been enjoying this week then…

great shot. there have been a few death by sharks this year around Oz so they always give me the creeps:)
I agree that it’s a stunning picture. Love it. #MySUndayPhoto
I am quite glad that is not “for real”!
Love the photo, sharks are so graceful when swimming. Thank you for the linky x
I always get crappy shots when I am taking photos of aquarium.
And the sharks in Bristol Aquarium is tiny so this shot is awesome in so many levels!
Perfect timing and how amazing to be looking from below.
That’s a brilliant picture! How amazing to see it that close up too. Thank you for hosting x
Wow this picture is just stunning, yet a little scary at the saw time, great shot x
I love sharks! My brother even bought me a toy one some years back (it had half eaten a man!) We went to Hull to see them there a while back so I must go to Birmingham to get my shark fix. Great shot through the glass.
Great photo, I love visiting Sea Life centres.
Thank you for linking up
Fantastic photo. We visited Sea Life Brighton for the few time last month, that was wonderful! Great to link up with you again 🙂
Great shot, always tricky in an aquarium, with the low light 🙂
Great shot! You would never think it was taken through glass
What a view! Not one you get everyday x
My daughter loves sharks so much, she could love to visit.
Great photo as it can be so hard getting a good shot in an aquarium.
I love sharks and this is an incredible photo. I think that I would love spending time here, although I love sharks I like to look at them through glass, not in the open sea!
Scary picture! Thank you for hosting; I am looking forward to joining in on the fun. 🙂
Great photo! I love the underwater tunnels at Sealife centres, they are such a fab way to see Sealife! 🙂
Brilliant shot, such powerful beautiful misunderstood creatures
Nice shot! So much better than I did at the aquarium!
I love sharks, there is something so majestic about them. Thanks for joining Linked
It’s nice to get close to sharks, isn’t it; even if it’s through the glass 🙂
We went to the Sea Life Centre (I think) in Birmingham a while back, so much underwater creatures to see; so colourful and sensory too. Really lovely place to visit.
Thanks for your linky.
