#CheckOutThatView from the MAD Blog Awards

My other blog, Crazy With Twins, was nominated for Best Pregnancy Blog in this year’s MAD Blog Awards. I was thrilled to find out that not only had I been nominated, but I got voted through as a finalist too, so on Friday I travelled up to London to attend the awards ceremony. How gobsmacked was I, to hear my name called as the WINNER of my category?!

So before I launch into my “views”, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who nominated me and voted for me, because winning that award meant so much to me.

Whilst I was in London, I stayed at the fabulous five star Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, which I’ve reviewed on this blog before. It really is that nice a hotel that I’ve been back time and time again. From our 9th floor room, we had a perfect view of Kensington Palace and gardens. It was beautiful.

The following morning, we set off for a bit of sightseeing and took the usual obligatory London selfies with Big Ben and the London Eye in the background.

We thought we’d expand on my 8 week old baby boy’s tourist experience by taking him on the London Eye, the London underground, Docklands Light Railway and also on a London river cruise. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy his day out and we also took this photo from The London Eye on my mobile phone, which I feel beats this photo of the London Eye which I previously posted on this blog!
